Yoga and Educational Kinesiology for Children
Children reap tremendous benefits from yoga and educational kinesiology.
Yoga has become a constructive outlet for kids
of all ages, allowing them to release stress and tension in a controlled
yet fun environment. Sporty children can improve their performance.
Not-so-sporty children can find a flexibility and strength they didn't know they had. Yoga
and Educational Kinesiology are a multi-dimensional learning program because they
integrate all the senses and natural body mechanisms. Children learn in a safe,
nurturing, and empowering context of which they are appreciated, acknowledged, and
cherished for their full self expression and who they are.
A few more of these benefits include:
- increase in self-confidence
- improved coordination
- sense of inner peace and calm as yoga has positive effects on the central nervous system.
- awaken body/ brain connections in an effort to relieve stress which inhibits learning capabilities and causes mental stagnation.
- ability to self soothe as understanding of personal empowerment and emotional integration.
- less reactive and more responsive to challenging situations.
- focus and clear thought patterns help to improve sense of self.
- Improved connection to body in space leading to greater sense of awareness.
